"Old Skool" Nostalgia Drags

 Oahe Speedway's  "Old Skool " Nostalgia Drags

will feature the cars of drag racing history.  The racing action will showcase 5 classes for altereds, funny cars,  front engine dragsters and period acceptable bodied cars and trucks.

 The "Old Skool" drags will be held in conjunction with the

 Truck'n Carwash / Creative Cuts ET Racing Shootouts. 

All Vehicles, drivers and teams must conform with appropriate NHRA rules, regulations and amendments in effect at the time of the event.

Qualifying will be based on best reactions times of qualifying rounds.

All fields will be ordered on a Sportsman ladders.  Class eliminations

 will be dial in format.

Electronics will be prohibited along with delay boxes and stutter boxes.

No computers will be allowed unless stock OEM.  Line locs and trans brakes will be allowed. 

Classes and Descriptions

Pro One

ET - 8.50 and faster - 1/4/mile - .400 handicap pro tree

• All engine combinations allowed per 2010 NHRA Rulebook 

• Center steer altered - front engine dragster - pre 1980 funny cars - pre 1974 bodied cars and trucks - pre 1980 bodied left steer roadsters

Pro Two

ET - 8.50-10.00 - 1/4 mile - handicap full tree

• Same vehicle description as Pro One                                                 

Nostalgia Comp

ET - 10.00-12.50 - 1/4 mile - handicap full tree

• Pre 1974 left steer bodied coupes, sedans and trucks - altereds - front engine dragsters -  pre 1980 bodied roadsters

Nostalgia Gas

ET 12.50-14-50 - 1/4 mile - handicap full tree

• Street and strip - vehicle may be street legal - left hand steer only - pre 1974 coupes, sedans, trucks and street rods - [No full race open cockpits. i.e. altereds, dragsters or roadsters]  

Nostalgia Street

ET 12.87 Maximum - 1/8 mile only - handicap full tree

• Must be street legal - street rods - all pre 1980  period cars acceptable - left hand steer coupes, sedans and trucks

• Street and DOT slicks allowed - No Drag Slicks
