2008 Dale’s A-1 Transmission /
Midwest Construction
Super Class Series!
Series of 5 Races held on:
May 3, June 21, July 19, August 16, and
August 30, 2008
Dale's A-1 Transmission,
Mitchell, SD, is owned and operated by Dale Long and his
three sons Daren, Devon, and Dustin. They offer certified
transmission service and the latest technology, as well as
transmission service on race cars, at their new store
located in Mitchell. The entire Long family has been
involved in drag racing for many years.
Midwest Construction and
Development, of Pierre, SD, owned and
operated by Mark and Glennis Zarecky, has
been in business since 1981. The firm
specializes in light industrial and
commercial buildings, as well as multifamily
and custom homes. The company is also
involved in Highlands Ridge, one of Pierre’s
newest residential developments, as well as
the Brookstone and Southgate commercial
sites in northeast Pierre.

Super Class bracket race combining Super
Comp 8.90, Super Gas 9.90, and Super Street 10.90.
(factored indexes of 9.01, 10.02, and
11.03)
Each Series Race pays:
$1,200 to the Winner / Runner-Up $500 /
Semi-Finalists $200
$80 Entry Fee
Guaranteed series payout exceeding
$11,500!
Class Specifics
9.01 and 10.02 indexed cars will use a .4
Pro Tree.
11.03 indexed cars will use a .5 Pro Tree.
Contestants will qualify on using "closest
to set index".
A normal bracket race will be held for
eliminations using set indexes.
Cross-talk will not be used.
