March 16, 2012
The off season, for Colton
Brady, of Pierre, has been a busy one. Colton, the son
of Brian and Amy Brady, amassed a 24-4 record in AAU
Wrestling competition over the past few months.
Wrestling in the 6 year old class, Colton recently
placed second in the regional meet at Miller, and will go on
to compete in the state tournament next weekend in Aberdeen.
According to mom, Amy, " Colton is pretty darn excited to
wrestle at State. His goal is to beat his dad’s record."
Brian, an accomplished wrestler, in his own right, also
began his career in AAU competition, and wrestled for
Stanley County High School, graduating, in 1997.
The Brady family spends their summer weekends campaigning
Brian's'86 Regal in Oahe Speedway's Coca Cola Sportsman
class.

Ever wonder what that little globe in the upper right column
is for?
Click on it sometime...we have had almost 9000 visitors to
the Oahe Speedway website since November 4, 2011.
While the majority of the visitors are from the US and
Canada, it is interesting how many other countries have
checked out the site. To dig deeper into the
statistics, click on the "Bars" button above the rotating
globe, to view the countries and further breakdown to the

2012 Fan Fest
Coming Soon !!!
March 8, 2012
Fan Fest 2012, presented by
Oahe Speedway, is just a few weeks away. The 8th
annual show will take place on March 24-25, at the
Pierre Mall. The

quarter- mile drag strip.
Racers participating in the two-day show, will receive a
complimentary test and tune pass, good for any test and tune
session during the 2012 season. In addition, any racer
signing up for the 2012 Coca Cola Point series, during the
show, will receive two single day spectator passes.

2012 Summit Racing Equipment D5 ET Finals

February 14, 2012
NHRA approved Oil Retention Devices will be required on all
cars running 9.99 and quicker at the 2012 Division 5 ET
Finals in Topeka. While this is a new ET Finals
requirement, Oahe Speedway highly recommends oil retention
devices be used on all cars. The devices are a proven safety item as well as
helping eliminate costly cleanup and down time following an
