Shootout Race
Win $700 in the Box / Electronics Shootout on Saturday.
The $700 Box Shootout race is open to any vehicle. All vehicles will
run together in a laddered field based on reaction times. Details of
the payout schedule are listed below.

Non-Electronics Shootout Race
Win $700 in the No Box / Non-Electronics Shootout on
Saturday. The $700 No Box Shootout race is open to any vehicle without
electronics. All vehicles will run together in a laddered field based
on reaction times. Details of the payout schedule are listed below.
Butler Machinery Company Trophy Shootout Race
A Trophy Shootout will start with time trials at 1:00 pm.
The elimination rounds being at 5:00 pm. The Trophy Shootout is open
to any car or bike. The filed will be laddered based on reaction
times. Both the winner and runner-up will receive a trophy.
Butler Machinery Company Junior Dragster
Shootout Race
Trophies will be awarded to the winner and runner-up of
the Junior Dragster Shootout on Saturday. The field will be laddered
based on reaction times.
Gamblers Race
A Gamblers Race may be held after two rounds of the
shootout races are completed. The Gamblers Race is open to first or
second round non-winners of both the Shootout Races or
a participant not competing in the Shootout Races, yet one who has entered
Test and Tune. The field is not laddered. Payout details of the
Gamblers Race are listed below.

$30.
2008 Mayors Challenge Race
The
first ever Mayors Challenge Race will be held on Saturday,
May 10. Mayors from Pierre, Fort Pierre, Blunt, Highmore, Onida, Gettysburg, Presho, Midland, and Timber lake
will compete in "Chicago" style runoffs to determine
the winner. The mayors have been encouraged to bring along
their own cheering sections and the employees of the
participating cities will be admitted for half price.
 
Dales A-1 Transmission/Midwest
Construction Super Series Race #1
This popular super series returns to Oahe Speedway in 2008.
Super Comp, Super Gas, and Super Street classes will face
off in the first of five series races throughout the 2008
season. Dales A1 is joined by Midwest Construction as
cosponsors of the series.
