Non-Electronics Shootout Race
Win $700 in the No Box / Non-Electronics Shootout on
Saturday. The $700 No Box Shootout race is open to any vehicle without
electronics. All vehicles will run together in a laddered field based

Cowboy Country Stores Trophy Shootout Race
A Trophy Shootout will be run on Saturday. The Trophy Shootout is open
to any car or bike. The filed will be laddered based on reaction
times. Both the winner and runner-up will receive a trophy.
Cowboy Country Stores Junior Dragster
Shootout Race
Trophies will be awarded to the winner and runner-up of
the Junior Dragster Shootout on Saturday. The field will be laddered
based on reaction times.
Dales A-1 Transmission/Midwest
Construction Super Series Race #2
This popular super series returns to Oahe Speedway in 2009.
Super Comp, Super Gas, and Super Street classes will face
off in the second of five series races throughout the 2009
season. Dales A1 is joined by Midwest Construction as
cosponsors of the series.
Oahe Speedway's Stock/ Super Stock Throwdown 2009
presented by
Doug's Dairy Queen of Pierre
and
Days Inn of Pierre
Oahe Speedway, in partnership with Kearney Raceway Park, in
Kearney, NE, will sponsor the first in a new series of
Stock/Super Stock Combos. Oahe Speedway will host the
2009 edition, with Kearny Raceway Park resenting the 2010
race. This special series is sponsored by Doug's Dairy
Queen and Days Inn, both of Pierre.
2009 Mayors Challenge Race
The second annual Mayors Challenge Race will be contested on
Saturday.
A field of mayors from the region will compete for bragging
rights on the quarter mile. Last year's winner, Jack
Axsom, of Gettysburg, has been invited back to defend his
title.
Gamblers Race
A Gamblers Race may be held after two rounds of the
shootout races are completed. The Gamblers Race is open to first or
second round non-winners of both the Shootout Races or
a participant not competing in the Shootout Races, yet one who has entered
Test and Tune. The field is not laddered. Payout details of the
Gamblers Race are listed below.
