NHRA Classes - Super Street, Super Gas, Super Comp, Stock / Super Stock Combo

On Saturday of the National Open weekend, racers competing in the
NHRA classes will start with qualifying rounds at 10:00 am and continue throughout the day.  Eliminations will be held on Sunday.

 

3rd Annual Anderson Contractors/Days Inn/Doug's Dairy Queen Aaron Koppien Memorial Stock / Super Stock Combo

The Midwest Class Racers Association will once again be co-sponsoring a Stock / Super Stock Combo during the National Open.  Time trials will begin at 9:00 am for the Combo, with eliminations starting at 2:00 pm.

CHS Midwest Cooperatives/Cenex Lubricants Box / Electronics Shootout Race

Win $700 in the Box / Electronics Shootout on Saturday.  The $700 Box Shootout race is open to any vehicle.  All vehicles will run together in a laddered field based on reaction times.  Details of the payout schedule are listed below. 

 

CHS Midwest Cooperatives/Cenex Lubricants No Box / Non-Electronics Shootout Race

Win $700 in the No Box / Non-Electronics Shootout on Saturday.  The $700 No Box Shootout race is open to any car or bike without electronics.  All vehicles will run together in a laddered field based on reaction times.  Details of the payout schedule are listed below. 

 

CHS Midwest Cooperatives/Cenex Lubricants Trophy Shootout Race

A Trophy Shootout will start with qualifying rounds at 10:00 am.  The elimination rounds begin at 2:00 pm.  The Trophy Shootout is open to any car or bike.  The filed will be laddered based on reaction times.  Both the winner and runner-up will receive a trophy. 

 

CHS Midwest Cooperatives/Cenex Lubricants Junior Dragster Shootout Race

Trophies will be awarded to the winner and runner-up of the Junior Dragster Shootout on Saturday.  The field will be laddered based on
reaction times.

 

"Tough Enough to Drag for Pinks" Challenge

The first "Tough Enough to Drag for Pinks" challenge will be held on Saturday, September 26.  Time trials will begin at 10am and eliminations at 2pm.  The entry fee will be $20.00.  The field will be laddered alphabetically from the entrants on Saturday.  as a trophy only class, the proceeds will benefit the Countryside Hospice Bed and Breakfast program.  The challenge will be open to any vehicle, following a simple tech inspection.

 

Gamblers Race

A Gamblers Race may be held after two rounds of eliminations are completed.  The Gamblers Race is open to first or second round non-winners or a participant not competing in the shootout races, yet one who has entered Test and Tune.  The field is not laddered.  Payout details of the Gamblers Race are listed below. 

 

Test & Tune

Make an unlimited number of passes on any race day for $30.

 

Additional Details

Parking / camping is available on a first-come, first-served basis.  The facility will be accessible for parking anytime as needed.  Oahe Speedway is an 1,700' altitude adjust track.  For more information on Altitude Correction Factors at Oahe Speedway, click here. Cars may run both NHRA and Oahe Speedway classes.
