Lynn's Dakotamart Box / Electronics Shootout Race

Win $700 in the Box / Electronics Shootout on Saturday.  The $700 Box Shootout race is open to any vehicle.  All vehicles will run together in a laddered field based on reaction times.  Details of the payout schedule are listed below. 

 

Lynn's Dakotamart No Box / Non-Electronics Shootout Race

Win $700 in the No Box / Non-Electronics Shootout on Saturday.  The $700 No Box Shootout race is open to any vehicle without electronics.  All vehicles will run together in a laddered field based on reaction times.  Details of the payout schedule are listed below. 

 

Lynn's Dakotamart Trophy Shootout Race

A Trophy Shootout will be run on Saturday. The Trophy Shootout is open to any car or bike.  The filed will be laddered based on reaction times.  Both the winner and runner-up will receive a trophy. 

 

Countdown to the Jam

Junior Major and Minor Classes

Lynn's Dakota Mart, along with Friman Oil and Gas of Pierre, will sponsor the Junior Dragster Major and Minor Class Shootouts on Saturday. 

Both fields will be laddered according to reaction times in qualifying.

 

Midwest Wild Bunch returns to the Speedway

Oahe Speedway presents the 2010 return of the Midwest Wild Bunch y.  In their 4th appearance at the speedway, the MWB should be prove to be record setters.  The group has been offered a bounty to set the mile per hour and elapsed time track records in the open wheel and door slammer categories.  Les Feist, of Clearwater, MN, currently holds the open wheel track records at 199.86 MPH, while Clif Bakx, of Grunthals, Manitioba, hold the top time with an elapsed time of 6.529 seconds.  Rick Schmidt, of Dickinson, ND, captured the doorslammers records at 187.93 MPH and covering the quarter mile at 7.376 seconds.  All three drivers have been invited back to kick the records up a notch. 

 

Gamblers Race

A Gamblers Race may be held after two rounds of the shootout races are completed.  The Gamblers Race is open to first or second round non-winners of both the Shootout Races or a participant not competing in the Shootout Races, yet one who has entered Test and Tune.  The field is not laddered.  Payout details of the Gamblers Race are listed below.
