Tech Opens at 9:00am
Spectator’s Gate opens at 10:00am
Qualifying/Time Trials at 1:00pm

Shootout Races
Today’s program will feature a Box/No Box Shootout. We will run separate Box and No Box Eliminators if we have 15 or more, entered In each class, prior to the start of eliminations. We will combine the two classes in the semifinals to determine a final winner. There will be only runner-up and winner money paid in the final combined round
We will also run a Trophy Shootout as well as an all-run Junior Dragster Shootout.
Additionally, Test and Tune, and Licensing will be offered throughout qualifying and during eliminations as time allows.
Buy Backs
Buy Backs will be offered for Shootout Classes with the exception of Trophy Shootout and Junior Dragster Buy Backs will apply to first round only.
Fees
Box/ No Box $20.00
Bike/Sled $20.00
Junior Dragster – Buy backs will not be offered for the Junior Jam.
9th Annual Junior Jam
The 9th Annual Junior Jam will be contested on Saturday afternoon. Both Junior Major and Junior Minor eliminators will be run. Special payouts and trophies will be offered in both classes. Junior Classes will qualify off reaction times.
Junior Jam Payouts:
Junior Major Winner – $400.00
Junior Major Runner-up – $200.00
Junior Major Semifinalists – $100.00
Junior Minor Winner – $400.00
Junior Minor Runner-up – $200.00
Junior MInor Semifinalists – $100.00
Potluck on Saturday Night
There will be a potluck on Saturday evening following eliminations. Please plan to bring a dish or favorite dessert to pass

Today’s program will feature Pepsi Points Race #6 for the 2018 season. All of our Speedway classes will be contested – Super Pro, Pro ET, Bike/Sled, Sportsman, Street Trophy, High School, Junior Dragster Major and Junior Dragster Minor. Test and Tune and Licensing runs will be offered throughout our racing program.

The South Dakota NHRA Drag Racing State Championships
The South Dakota NHRA Drag Racing State Championship program will recognize and award grassroots racers with a unique, specially designed NHRA State Championships Wally plaque. Much like state high school athletic associations that conduct state championships in school sporting events, NHRA designates and recognizes one annual event per state that boasts NHRA member tracks as the official NHRA Drag Racing State Championships. Oahe Speedway and Sturgis Dragway alternate this event. A special South Dakota Drags Racing Championship plaque is awarded to winners in Super Pro, Pro ET, Bike/Sled, Sportsman, Street Trophy and High School classes.
