Lisa Marie Buchmann, 56, of Beulah, ND passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022. Services will be held at 11:00 AM CDT on Monday, July 18, 2022 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Beulah with Pastor Kent Sperry officiating. Burial will follow at Beulah City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Sunday, July 17 at Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah.

Lisa was born on July 16, 1965 in Bismarck, ND to Hildegard (Thomas) and Elmer Moos. She was the baby of the family and was blessed with three older siblings, Robert, Bonnie and Curtis. Lisa grew up and attended school in Beulah and graduated from Beulah High School in 1984. Lisa married the love of her life, Lucky Buchmann on December 31, 1983 at Beulah Congregational Church. The couple lived in Arizona for a time until returning to North Dakota, residing in Riverdale, ND before settling back in Beulah. Beulah is where they raised their beautiful children, Amber Marie and Dustin Lucky.

Lisa had several jobs that she enjoyed throughout her life. She was fortunate enough to work with her mom for many years, cleaning homes and businesses. She later went to work at Knife River Group Home in Hazen. Lisa loved the residents like her own family and was so sad when the facility closed. She also worked for Farmer’s Union Insurance in Beulah. Above all, she made her job as a wife, mom and grandma the most important.

Lisa was a wonderful mother. Her children never had to wonder who loved them most. She was always quick to help, dropping plans to be there for her kids.

Lisa had many hobbies and interests. She loved to scrapbook and embroider, blessing her family with many photo albums and dishtowels. She especially enjoyed “craft weekend” with her mom, sister, daughter and daughter-in-law, where there was never a shortage of laughs, coffee and projects. Lisa was her husband’s and son’s biggest fan at their many drag racing events. She was so proud of her children’s successes in life. She loved to spend time in Dickinson helping Amber at her salon and she was always available and willing to help Dustin with any project. Lisa always enjoyed days spent with her mom and sister, making trips to Bismarck, Medora or just having coffee. More than anything, Lisa loved to spend time with her grandchildren, Cruz and Claire.

Lisa is survived by her husband of 38 years, Lucky; her children, Amber (Travis Weigum) Buchmann and Dustin (Nicole) Buchmann; her grandchildren, Cruz and Claire; her mother, Hildegard Moos; one sister, Bonnie (Mark) Nies; one brother, Curtis (Charlotte) Moos; three sisters-in-law, Holly (Jared) Boltz, Tina (Dave) West and Lona Moos; her in-laws, Lila Buchmann and Donald Buchmann; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Elmer and her brother, Robert.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to M and M Pet Rescue.

Arrangements are conducted by Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah and Hazen.
